2011
- Medovent gains certification according to EN ISO 13485:2003
2010
- Medovent founds a company Medoderm GmbH with focus on wound management applications.
- With its 3rd round of financing closed, Medovent has raised in total EUR 3.5 Mio. since 2006.
2009
- Medovent installs a new clean room for its stent production.
- Medovent initiates the testing programme for its chitosan suture and nerve guide.
- Medovent closes a second round of financing.
2008
- Medovent moves to the industrial park in Mainz-Hechtsheim. The new 500 m2 facilities include modern lab and production space.
- Medovent signs a licensing agreement with a global medtech player.
2007
- Medovent completes development of a novel chitosan stent.
- Medovent receives seed funding from private and institutional investors.
2006
- Medovent GmbH is founded by Dr. Thomas Freier and Dr. Rivelino Montenegro in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
