Many medical devices are coated to improve biocompatibility, to prevent bacterial infection, and to embed drugs for controlled release applications.
What do we do?
Medovent's high quality coatings demonstrate a range of superior properties making them suitable for coating catheters, stents, hemostasis devices, orthopedic implants and other medical devices where superiour biocompatibility and surface characteristics are needed. Medovent's coating can also be used for drug delivery.
What makes it special?
Medovent's coatings have a hydrophilic surface, they are biodegradable and biocompatible. We have carried out initial tests that demonstrate the potential for sustained drug release applications.
