Medovent's chitosan tubes
Tubes and tubing systems are widely used in medical applications. High quality and high performance tubular devices such as catheters and stents are used in e.g. urology, cardiology and vascual surgery.
What do we do?
Biodegradable chitin and chitosan tubes demonstrate elasticity and mechanical strength. They support tissue regeneration and reduce bacterial infection. We currently test our prototypes for nerve and vascular repair.
What makes it special?
Medovent tubes can be provided in various lengths and diameters. Mechanical and biodegradation properties can vary according to medical needs.
